Hello fellows and congratulations on your ongoing success! Your
show at the Hippadrome (Oct. 9,2004) was off the hook. No one missed
a beat or tune (impressive). And if I must say so, the best was yet
to come when Gerald did "A Change Is Gonna Come". Brotherman, you
sing that song as if it was your own. I've seen you guys numerous
times but still, each time is better than the first. Many thanks and
may God continue to bless you all! Let's keep the oldies soul
classic music going, now that's music to your ears as well as your
heart. Rosy from DC

Hello Guys! Let me try this again. You guys were totally awesome
at the Hippadrome, Baltimore on Oct. 9, 2004. Especially when you
Gerald sang "A Change Is Gonna Come". I've seen you guys on numerous
occasions and each time you seem to outdo yourselves. Gerald sings
that song as if it were his. The three groups together "Blue Magic",
"Stylistics" and the "Manhattans", was a performance worth going
down in History. Keep up the good work(s)! Rosy from DC

I love you guys. The song Can I came out when I was young and my
brother and sister used to play it all the time. My family played
every album you made all the time, then I saw you for the first time
in New York right after the blackout and you turned the place out. I
wish you the best in life and may God continue to bless each and
everyone of you.KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND KEEP MAKING HITS!!!!!

I am still in awe at the performance you all did at the Alabama
Theatre for Miles College homecoming on last night (10-15-04). I
have been a big fan since my high school years. You all are a

just soothing to the ears). Continue on your destiny and doing
exactly what you are doing now. Your biggest fan, felicia

see in the future the Manhattans receiving a life time acheivement
award on BET or the Grammys becuase you guys definetely deserve it.

I just had to share some love with one of my all time favorite
groups. The show performed yesterday in Lynchburg, Va. was out of
sight. Everyone is still buzzing about the show. I would like to
personally say that I appreciate the love you gave us girls up
front. You were real and I want you to know you made alot of ladies
from Lynchburg happy. Hey, I got to touch hands with two members.
And you can believe tommorrow at work I will be bragging. I would
like to share a little personal thought on my life. You see my
finacee who was 43 years old died about 6 weeks ago of a heart
during the night. It was bad enough to lose him, but to actually see
someone you love leave for good. Well he was the nieghborhood DJ,
and he could recite facts and titles about songs like no one esle.
He really loved you guys so much. We both admired everything you had
achieved. Cecil and I were to be married in two weeks, but God plans
come first. I had not felt like going out. And some people were
kinda worried. So I went to the show(with Cecil in spirit) and I
felt so close to him. I thank your music for letting me have that
gift. If you only knew my love for this man, and how your music
connected to my soul for this man. Turn out the light, turn out the
stars, I won't need no moonlight. A special blessing to each of you,
and your families who so graciously share you with us.

I just saw you guys at the Miles College tour Oct. 15. 04. When I
say you were really great that is an under statement. I enjoyed
every inch of your performance. You were dressed to perfection and
cordinated to a tee. I resect your class act. The young performers
really should learn from the pros. Thank you for a wonderful evening
of sheer excitement and entertainment. I'm still on a natural

I grew up listening to the MANHATTANS on radio station CKLW out
of Detroit and Windsor. The big 8 formed my music appreciation; I
also was able to develop good rythum singing with all the bands of
this era. I think that Motown will live forever. This white kid from
Howell, Michigan got a lot of soul from listening, THANK YOU for
some great music.

Saturday, 11.13.04, The Manhattans captivated an audience at the
Academy Of Music in Philadelphia. Truly a stunning performance by
Blue, Gerald, David Tyson & Troy, they were the highlight of the
evening's billing. Gerald and Blue and the group were given a
standing ovation and were clearly in top vocal form, with the crowd
responding to every classic hit by roaring their admiration and
approval. It's obvious that last night is one of the reasons they're
called the ("Mighty") Manhattans!

Detroit 2003 the manhattans were performing at the Detroit Opera

That's Not Part of The Show. The last time I saw you perform, I was
visiting Virginia from Florida, and caught the show in the DC area.
Exceptional as I remembered.

Beautiful, informative, wonderful. The history and information
was great. I've been listening to you since day one -- and still
enjoy hearing your smooth, mellow tones. Keep on, Keeping on!

I like your website very much. You all are whom I call singers. I
am from the old school of music, and I still crave for the sounds of
yesteryear.
