I think the site is just what I needed. It seems as though I can actually connect with each of the Manhattans as individuals. However, I would like to make comments toe the entire group "The Manhattans" and I don't find that capability. I believe that other veteran fans would feel the same way because we don't really know one without the other. I love ALL of you together. I think your website is great. I have been a fan of your since the 8 or 9 grade. I really enjoy you guys in concert at the Dallas Convention Center. I only wish you would have been the last ones to performed. Too bad the Manhattans couldn't have sung 'Everybody Has a Dream' and 'I Kinda Miss You'. I remember 'Everybody Has a Dream' from being my brother's senior class song in 1978, which is one of your greatest songs that I love. I have always long to 'Dance to a Luv Song' with that someone special. I will continue to buy your music and hope 'The Manhattans' will come to the Dallas' area again to do more than a 45 minutes show, but I will continue to enjoy your concerts even if they're only 30 minutes. I went to your show in Dallas Tx. this week and it was a show stopper. (It was the show ). Had it not been for your performance I would have ask for my money back, because of the problem with the sound system, by the way your show in Houston was was also a show stoper. I loved your show in Dallas!!! As the previous comments indicate, the rest of the lineup was okay but you guys were at least two levels better than all of them. Gerald, Sam Cooke would be proud and I will be looking forward to checking you guys out again in the near future. Keep reminding us what good soul singing is all about. It's a lost art.

I had an opportunity to experience The Manhattans in Dallas during your recent appearance (March 6, 04). I thoroughly enjoyed the show, I was mesmerized by Blue's performance, so much style in his every move. And Gerald was truly sensational bringing the house down with 'A Change is gonna come!' I think The Temptations were the headliners, but in my book, The Manhattans stole the show!

Listening to the sweet sounds of The Manhattan's on my CD player and thought perhaps there was a website. Wow, this is great! I'm so glad they're still together and touring. I'd like to express my dedication as a fan to one the best groups I've ever heard. I have been a fan for over 25 years and I still think Gerald is the best singer I ever heard. There is a part of this group that will live with me forever. I say that for good reason. When I was a young singer myself I had the opportunity along with the guys I sang with to open up for the Manhattans in Milwaukee,Wi back in the 70's. So i feel connected and understand when Gerald sings were ge is coming from. There are five Singers I admire and they are: Gerald Austin, Peabo Bryson, Luther Vandross, Feddie Jackson, and James Ingram. Timeless That's all I can say. Long live The Manhattans forever.

I feel a little stupid doing this but this site totally suits what i feel.Im 12 now and have never seen them in concert or on tv or anything but i heard their one song and now i cant stop playing it. i talk to my friends aboutthe song now they love them too. I watched the PBS viewing of "Rhythm, Love and Soul". Eventhough the songs are from my parents' generation I was fortunate to be introduced to thar R&B from a very young age, especially the Manhattans. I was in awe that all of the groups sounded just like they were 'back in the day'. Loved every second of the program. Keep it up! :-D

One of my all time favorite R&B groups. I became a huge fan back in the late 70's when I was a young GI in West Berlin Germany and I was fortunate enough to catch you guys in concert. That was the first time I heard songs from your soon to be released "Love Talk" album. Why hasn't this album ever been released on CD? It's not even listed in your discography. I like the website. I saw The Manhattans "Live" in Austin, Texas on Sunday, May 30th at the Doubletree Hotel. I am in my 50's & attended with my daughter in her 20's. The audience was an ethnic mix of Black, Hispanic, White. Manhattans...You electrified the audience! Young & old were singing your songs & rocking to your music. We will be sure to see you again!

I saw you guys perform at Cedarbrook Park this past Saturday. Your performance was great. You sound as good live as you do on your cd's. And the boyz to men song you all performed was better than the original, and Gerald, your performance of Sam Cooke's a change gon come, was awesome. Please keep the music alive. Just think...I almost didn't go! Last night at The Carter Barron in Washington DC (outside in the park!): The Manhattans and Ray Goodman and Brown. RGB opened, and they really put their thing DOWN! They have actually upped their game considerably in last few years. I figured The Manhattans would be pressed to follow them on stage. But you guys really REALLY performed! Outstanding! That was the best time I've had so far this summer! From the choreography, to the harmony, to the untouchable Gerald Austin, it was first class all the way! You guys should open up a school! And to think, I almost didn't go... (Oh yeah..nice website!)

Earlier in the week I went to see a play in D.C. featuring "The Manhattans". They didn't look familiar when they came on stage and when the lead singers started his first note I said "those aren't the Manhattans". I was so disappointed and wanted to know what was going on. Then I saw The Manhattans were going to be at the Carter Baron that Saturday "featuring Gerald Alston and Blue Lovitt". I went out of curiosity and hope. When you guys came out on stage and Gerald hit that first note, I lit up. I said "now these are The Manhattans". You guys turned it out! Thank you so much and don't change a thing!
