Howie Robbins has played keyboards for The Manhattans since 1993, receiving a gold album in 1996 for his contribution to "The Manhattans: Live In South Africa". Besides music, his passions include movies, magic, science-fiction and martial arts.
This Brooklyn, New York Aquarian has performed live with many artists including: Cheryl "Pepsii" Riley; Regina Belle; Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam; club artist Joi Cardwell; Hi-Five as well as serving as musical director for Canadian pop artist Snow (appearing with the latter two groups on The Arsenio Hall show). Howie's studio credits include recordings/remixes for diverse artists such as: Salt-N-Pepa; Bette Midler; Deborah Cox; Ray Charles; Groove Theory and others. He has also worked with producers such as: Herbie Azor; Steve Stoute; Vincent Herbert; Nashiem Myrick; John Robinson and Brinsley Evans. Howie also writes and produces. He co-wrote "Stephanie" with Cheryl "Pepsii" Riley featured on her cd "....All That!" and "Back in your Arms Again" with Brinsley Evans for club artist Judy Torres. He is also seeking writing and production for a number of upcoming artists. Be it House, Hip Hop, R&B or Soul, Howie is always ready to lend his Brooklyn born flavor to the mix!!!
