Dwight Fields

Edward 'Dwight' Fields was born in Henderson, North Carolina to Mattie and Johnny Fields.  He has worked with his cousin, Gerald Alston along with Blue Lovett and The Manhattans for about eight years.

Music is Dwight's passion.  He has been singing since he was about four years old.  While in high school, Dwight formed the group, "Gerald Alston and the New Imperials" (performing on Saturdays) and the "Gospel Jubilees" (performing on Sundays).  In 1974, he formed a group based in Washington, DC, "The Authentics Unlimited" which featured four brothers from Henderson with Martin Burwell, Tyrone Burwell and Bill Crews.  Dwight has also worked with his father and four time Grammy award winning gospel group, "The Five Blind Boys of Alabama".

Dwight loves to write and arrange and thanks God for the opportunity to be able to indulge his passion.
